Visit our Hawaiian family getaway - located at Volcano, a small town
near the entrance to the world famous Volcano National park on the Big
Island of Hawaii. Our vacation rental is situated at an elevation of
3800 feet! Carrie's Vacation Hideaway is a beautiful two-story
three bedroom home tucked away in a forest of Hapu Ferns and Ohia Trees.
The house has two bedrooms upstairs, both with queen size beds. The
master bedrooms square footage is 400 feet in area. Also
upstairs is one full bath with tub and shower. Downstairs is a large
living room
with a 16 foot vaulted ceiling, sofa and love seat. An old fashioned
wood burning stove will keep you toasty warm on our cool nights tropical
nights. Our amenities include cable television, VCR, and local phone
service. Downstairs there is a cozy bedroom with two single beds and a
half bath. Prepare your meals in our full sized kitchen with gas oven
and stove, refrigerator, pots, pans, microwave, toaster, wine glasses
and china to
complete our host of kitchen amenities. A lovely separate atrium dining
area is
located just off the kitchen. Your family will enjoy your trip to the
islands in our large, fully furnished vacation rental. Our Island has
deserts, volcano's, beaches, waterfalls, hiking/biking trails, shopping,
hula and Hawaiian cultural activities, luaus, snorkeling, all types of
sports and adventures for you to enjoy.
Star gaze after dark at the park or join a stargazing tour. Volcano
National Park
offers various guided or independent hiking tours. We would be happy to
refer you to any of our eco-touring adventure companies, or you can go
off exploring with your own agenda. Try wine tasting at the Big Islands
famous Volcano Winery - located about three miles from our vacation
rental. Take a picnic to Kapoho, or go to Punaluu and visit the black
sand beaches. Explore the Hamakua coast, or tackle an 8 hour drive
around the island.
Come experience the land of Aloha and the warm welcoming culture of
Hawaii on
